6-5 Austin Ajukwa will visit Clemson Thursday with his mother and AAU coach, and the idea of committing is weighing heavily on his mind, especially after an in home visit Monday from Tigers' head coach Brad Brownell. "I just have that feeling it's the right place for me," Ajukwa said. "The coaching staff there can help me to become a good NBA player." The only thing that might keep Ajukwa from committing Thursday is a conversation he had with USC head coach Frank Martin during an in home visit Wednesday. "He talked about how I'd be in an extended family and it's only 20 minutes from my house," Ajukwa said adding that his decision is down to the Tigers and Gamecocks. "He gave me something to think about." Ajukwa will head up to Clemson around 11:30 AM and my later in the afternoon he should know if he's ready to join the Tigers or give the Gamecocks a closer look.
