UGA RB target makes last-minute visit to Alabama, per report
UGA did not get the last visit from Alvin Kamara after all.
The AJC’s Mr. Georgia Football quietly made an unofficial visit to Alabama on Saturday, according to ESPN’s Kipp Adams.
Kamara, the highly-regarded tailback from Norcross High School, will announce his college decision between Alabama and UGA at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The 5-foot-10, 195-pounder took official visits to Alabama and UGA over the past two weeks. The Bulldogs were his last official visit, giving them the opportunity to make the last impression.
Until the under-the-radar trip this weekend.
Kamara had said initially that he wasn’t going to visit anywhere on the final weekend.
Alabama has been rumored as the frontrunner over UGA for Kamara. This weekend’s visit does nothing to dispel the rumors.
